Etnosoi! festival procedures regarding Covid-19 passports and other restrictions vary from concert to concert, based on each venue’s own practices and prevailing restrictions. We will updated this page with the latest information affecting our festival.

Concert halls and libraries (Savoy Theatre, Malmitalo, Vuotalo, Sellosali, Oodi)
At the moment coronavirus restrictions do not cover libraries or concert halls, so the Covid-19 passport is not in use at Oodi, Savoy Theatre, Malmitalo, Vuotalo or Sellosali. Masks are recommended. (Updated Oct. 18, 2021)

Bistro K (Kapsäkki Music Theatre)
Bistro K at the Kapsäkki Music Theatre closes at 10 pm, and therefore does not require customers to show a Covid-19 passport. The restaurant has about 70 seats, and each customer must have their own seat. Masks are recommended. (Updated Oct. 18, 2021)

The Covid-19 passport is in use at Siltanen, which enables the bar to remain open until 3 am. Covid Certificates for residents of Finland are available from the My Kanta website. To obtain one, a customer must have either completed an approved course of Covid-19 vaccination, certification of a negative coronavirus test result within the previous 72 hours or a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 within the previous six months.
Be prepared to present your passport at the door, either by showing the QR code you’re your phone or a printed copy of the certificate. The phone screen should be brightened to facilitate reading of the code. Besides the Covid Certificate, you must have a valid photo ID. (Updated Oct. 18, 2021)

  • Do not attend any events if you are ill
Stay home if you have any kind of cold or flu symptoms.
  • Wash your hands
The best way to prevent coronavirus infections is by maintaining good hand hygiene, so please make sure that your hands remain clean at all times.
  • Remember to keep a safe distance
The virus is readily transmitted by close contact. If a queue forms at an event, please wait for a moment and ensure that you keep a safe distance from others. Sit at a proper distance from others.
  • Cough and sneeze properly
Cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue when coughing or sneezing. Immediately put the used tissue in the rubbish bin. If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve.
  • Etnosoi! recommends wearing a mask at the concerts.

Etnosoi! and our partners carefully follow the guidelines of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Regional State Administrative Agencies to ensure that the concert experiences are safe for performers, other employees and the public. More detailed, up-to-date safety information can be found on the website of each concert venue. All events have seating except for the opening club at Siltanen on Nov. 5.
