Mumo – Mustalaismusiikin orkesteri (The Gypsy Music Orchestra)

The Gypsy Music Orchestra Mumo is a professional orchestra devoted to the style of Gypsy Music. Its members are well-known from ensembles like Orkestra Suora Lähetys. The repertoire of their debut concert includes old and new Gypsy music from Finland and different parts of Europe, all interpreted with heart and soul as well as big respect. The Mumo line-up features among others Dimitri Keiski, the winner of Sweden’s True Talent competition and Miritza Lundberg, a violin virtuoso of international top level, not to forget many exquisite children performers of the Gypsy music field.
Duration 150 min including intermission.

The concert is arranged by Artos ry, Arts Promotion Centre Finland and Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy.
