Koti – Kodu – Koto – Hemvist

Estonian vocal ensemble Väike Hellero and Finnish – Swedish flute ensemble Tuultenpesä join forces with folk music students from the Sibelius Academy, taking the audience on a journey to the roots of folk music. The concert brings together folk music and song traditions from Ingria, Finland, Sweden and Finlands Swedish-speaking villages, exploring how music has always travelled with people, across places and borders, creating and sustaining connections to home and place. 
The concert is organised by the Folk Music Department, Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, in collaboration with the Etnosoi! Festival, the Ingrian Cultural Foundation, and Finlands svenska folkmusikinstitut.
